HOUSTON – The Local Organizing Committee (“LOC”) for the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships is proud to announce a partnership with Eleiko as the official barbell provider for the World Weightlifting Championships in Houston this November.

For over 50 years, Eleiko Sport has been a worldwide leader within international weightlifting, powerlifting and strength and conditioning communities. The Houston LOC partners with the United States Olympic Committee and USA Weightlifting to host the Championships for nine exciting days and nights from November 20 – 28, 2015, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. An estimated 600 competitors from over 188 affiliated National Federations from all five Olympic continents are expected to participate in this International Olympic Committee-sanctioned qualifying event for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympic Games.
